Her son started with RCIG in 2017 and soon after Joanna signed up to be a volunteer coach. That led to sitting on the RCIG Board of Directors as President from 2018-2022 and finally joining the team as a part of our staff!

Prior to her life at RCIG, Joanna was a Global Pharmaceutical Meeting Manager. Joanna is a proud kidney donor and enjoys speaking at events for VCU in efforts to educate others about living kidney donations and is always advocating for her son and others.

Her hobbies include listening to music; mostly being an avid Harry Styles fan, spending quality time with friends and family, and playing with her cat, Freya. A fun fact about her is that she has over 25 tattoos! Pippin enjoyed her time at RCIG for her internship experience, and is now part of the team as our Volunteer Coordinator!

Erica runs Cardinal Academy, her tutoring business, where she enjoys providing personalized support to students with special needs. In her free time, she enjoys bird watching, creating eco-art, and exploring Richmond’s thrift stores!
