Joanna Wylie is a married mom of three beautiful children, one of which has autism and an intellectual disability. Her son started with RCIG in 2017 and soon after Joanna signed up to be a volunteer coach. That led to sitting on the RCIG Board of Directors as President from 2018-2022 and finally joining the team as a part of our staff!
Prior to her life at RCIG, Joanna was a Global Pharmaceutical Meeting Manager. Joanna is a proud kidney donor and enjoys speaking at events for VCU in efforts to educate others about living kidney donations and is always advocating for her son and others.

Pippin was raised in Culpeper, VA and moved to Richmond for school, where she recently received a B.S. in Exercise Science from VCU. Her hobbies include listening to music; mostly being an avid Harry Styles fan, spending quality time with friends and family, and playing with her cat, Freya. A fun fact about her is that she has over 25 tattoos! Pippin enjoyed her time at RCIG for her internship experience, and is now part of the team as our Volunteer Coordinator!

Ellie was born and raised in Glen Allen, Virginia. She is obtaining her B.A. in Psychology with a concentration on Applied Behavior Analysis from the University of North Carolina – Wilmington. She plans on becoming an ABA therapist. Ellie loves spending time with her family and friends, fostering kittens, and traveling. Ellie started out as a volunteer in 2020, and is now a part time Coach when she is home from college!

Erica is a native of Arlington, VA, & loves being part of the RCIG team! She holds a Master’s in Teaching Special Education & an English degree from the University of Mary Washington. She spent two years living & teaching in Rwanda, where she still visits her friends & goddaughter in Kigali every year. Erica runs Cardinal Academy, her tutoring business, where she enjoys providing personalized support to students with special needs. In her free time, she enjoys bird watching, creating eco-art, and exploring Richmond’s thrift stores!
